Dear Friends and Clients, We welcome you to Faberge Home Rentals Management, LLC. Our company started unexpectedly; it is a personal story.
I was a homeowner of two vacation properties, one in Vermont and one in Spain, which I found myself using less and less, while taxes and maintenance expenses kept increasing. I was thinking about selling the properties when a friend suggested that I try to rent them out for a short time. Like every homeowner, I was concerned about sharing my personal space with someone else. After much hesitation, I rented one of my properties for a three-day weekend. I rushed to check the house after the guests’ departure, and was pleasantly surprised to find everything in its place! I was left with a nice rent payment for days that the property would have otherwise been unoccupied. I continued renting the property out, and not only was I able to cover all my taxes and expenses for the year, but I also made a very nice return. Above all, my family and I were still able to enjoy the property whenever we wanted. Insurance covered all my risks. Many of my friends also have vacation properties and, hearing about my success, asked me to help them manage their vacation homes as rentals. Faberge was born! Being a traveler and a guest at other people’s properties, I noticed that homeowners often do not have the time and experience required to manage everything that goes into renting their properties while providing the highest level of service. At times, I found that descriptions and photos of the advertised properties were not exactly accurate. Additionally, sometimes I didn’t receive a reply, or I received it days after making other travel arrangements. There had to be a better way! My mission is to provide my guests with excellent service, I reply to their queries within an hour, deliver total satisfaction, and be there for them before, during, and after their stay. Guests greatly appreciate this level of service and keep coming back, recommending Faberge to their friends and family. I receive many letters from satisfied guests. By combining personal experience, understanding homeowners’ concerns and guests’ desire for excellent service, we are able to attain occupancy rates that are much higher than those achieved by most homeowners. This provides excellent improvement to the bottom line for homeowners and vacations that create lifetime memories for renters. Time is very valuable to everyone. Renting a second home should not be a second job. We take care of every detail and create value for homeowners and guests alike.
