About the property

A spacious home built on 10 private acres, sleeps 24, and is perfect for a family reunion, large group of friends, corporate retreat, academic seminar, or several families who wish to vacation together. The estate has a private pond, incredible views, hot tub, a sauna and is an ideal place for those looking for fun in the winter (minutes to Bromley, Magic and Stratton), or witness the incredible Vermont foliage in autumn, and offers great fishing. Packed with amenities and close to everything, this estate is guaranteed to relax, rejuvenate and entertain your entire group from the minute you arrive.

The Space

The home offers nine bedrooms, six bathrooms, and plenty of space for up to 24 people to stay very comfortably. The beds have fresh linens and the bathrooms are stocked with towels and paper products for your stay.

The home is tastefully decorated and has wide open spaces, the family room is large and has a fireplace, there is also a spacious common room as well. There is a dining room and a breakfast area to serve those homecooked meals.

Outside on the main floor is a deck with a BBQ for the grill master, table and chairs for dining, perfect for hosting a cookout and serving outside, with great views of the pond and surrounding area.

There is a hot tub with an incredible vista, a sauna, a private pond, and several miles of trails for hiking and bird-watching. Also included are a foosball table, pool table, entertainment centers, a fireplace, and an outdoor firepit for campfires.

The kitchen is stocked with the things you need to cook up delicious meals and keep your crew well fed. All you need to do is bring the food!

The caretaker lives 5 minutes from the property and is available to answer any questions and show you around if needed.

The Perfect Day

For guests in the spring, summer, and fall, the morning cup of coffee while overlooking the private pond is a treat that cannot be missed. For those in winter, the views are still great, just enjoy that cup of coffee inside, or bundle up!

For winter guests, one of the best features of the home is that it is so close to so many ski mountains, which is perfect for those longer ski vacations. Pick a mountain for the day, and you can either have one long ski session, or break up the day into shorter ones—the choice is yours! If you find a mountain you love, you can keep going back, or you can pick a different mountain each day to get a real taste of Vermont skiing.

You can also have a relaxing day at your incredible home, making food, curling up with a good book and a drink, putting on movies and having a tournament on the foosball or pool table, and relaxing in the hot tub. Or you can be explorers, checking out the local festivals and farmer’s markets for the freshest produce and delicious treats, then head on to an art gallery or shop and find that perfect thing to give your home a unique memento of your time in Vermont. Or you can be athletes, hitting the slopes, or the golf course, or finding a hiking trail. Or you can be creative, pick a view to try to paint, or perhaps start that book you have been putting off for years.

For the fishers, there are plenty of choices as well. There are several lakes and rivers, stocked with trout and contain several species native to Vermont, which are only minutes away.

Once the day is about done, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from, or take your groceries home and use the kitchen to show off your culinary skills. As the evening advances, you can steam your muscles in the sauna, especially important for those who were active during the day. Or you can continue your day of relaxation with a nighttime soak in the hot tub, or start a fire in the firepit and swap funny stories, or reminisce about the ones you just made.

The Neighborhood

The estate is located in the “golden triangle” of Vermont for skiers, that is, there are several mountains close by: Bromley, Magic Mountain, Stratton, and Okemo are all close enough that you can have two ski sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, or one during the day and one at night, for example.

In the summer enjoy numerous hiking or cycling opportunities nearby. Bromley Sun Mountain Summer Park offers family adventures for the whole day of fun including New England’s longest zipline, Vermont’s longest water-slide raft ride, America’s longest triple-track Alpine Slide, climbing walls, mini-golf and much more.

Manchester is the area’s “big little town,” a unique trait of rural Vermont—even the hot spots are quaint and quiet! There are lots of restaurants and bars, and for those who like to be pampered, there are spas which will make you feel like you have died and gone to heaven. For those who want a thrill, the Land Rover Experience Driving School offers full day of off-road driving instructions on the 80-acre purpose-built course. You can also learn: Green Mountain Falconry School offers a rare opportunity to handle a trained hawk; Orvis Fly Fishing School will help you perfect your techniques; Orvis Shooting School will help you land that next trophy for your wall, or impress your friends at your next target or clay shooting. And for the bargain shoppers who want to go on a spree, the Manchester designer outlets will allow you to find great clothes and accessories without breaking the bank, all the while enjoying great views and food.

This home is also perfect for families and groups that love to fish, several lakes and rivers are within a couple of miles and are stocked with trout, the local fish species are bass, pike, and perch. If you attend the Orvis Fly Fishing School on your first day, you will have plenty of places to try out your newly acquired skills for the rest of your vacation!

We hope you will choose our lovely home, we know you will love it as much as we do!

Clean, inviting environment. Beautiful property and well maintained. Plenty of space. We were 4 families with kids from toddlers to teens and everyone had an awesome time. The jacuzzi and sauna were great for relaxing after a full day of skiing. Highly reccomend!!!!

WOW! Great Place not to be Missed!

Wow! We glad we found this place! It is huge with 9 bedrooms, including a bunk bedroom on the top floor that kids just loved. We were 3 families total of 20 people and everybody had their own space. The weather was perfect for beginning of May! Part of the group fished in a small lake right on the property. If you are interested in more serious fishing—there is a bigger lake 2 miles away on Lovers Lane that has great trout fishing. We did biking and hiking that is plenty around. Dmitry was great host! We would recommend this place without hesitation and already planning our next retreat.

Overall an excellent experience

Stayed in this house over a 4 night long ski weekend with 5 families totaling 21 people. The house was clean, spacious and very well equipped to handle our group. The kitchen was well stocked, there were towels and linens for everyone, plenty of paper products, etc. There are multiple floors on the house that allowed for separation of kids and adults when needed. All the utilities worked well. We got 14" of snow while staying in the house and to our surprise the long driveway leading to the house was well plowed.

The house is in a great location for a base camp to ski at Stratton, Okemo or Bromley and is also not far from Manchester.

One item to note to anyone considering a stay in this house during the winter months is that it is located a couple of miles from the main highway. As a result, the roads leading to the house can be a little difficult to traverse in the snow if you do not have an AWD or 4WD vehicle.

Dmitry was very responsive to any and all questions that I had. He is a true professional. I would definitely recommend this house and I anticipate that we will be back in years to come.

Amazing home!

This is an amazing home in which we stayed in for the long weekend. All rooms were in great condition, everything was clean. Everything worked right, would definitely want to stay in again!

Great Home in a Great Location

We stayed at this home for the extended Thanksgiving weekend. We had five families staying at the home. The home has been recently updated and no updates were spared. The beds were all very comfortable and there are two large living spaces that allow for large groups to be comfortable. There is a loft with cool timber bunk beds that all of the kids loved staying in together for our trip. The home is set on a very private dirt road set off by itself with a pond, fire pit, outside sauna and large deck. Also, there is plenty to do close by in the area, Stratton Mountain Village, Bromley and Manchester.
