About the property

A great, great home that is packed with amenities, great location, sleeps 20, and is perfect for a large family or family reunion, corporate retreat, large group of friends, or several families looking to vacation together. Great in winter, as it is only a couple minutes to Mt. Snow, and still great in spring, summer, and fall, this house has two hot tubs, great gaming amenities, fireplaces, a sauna, and two kitchens. We know you are going to love it!

The Space

The cabin has six bedrooms and four bathrooms, and fifteen (15!) beds, plenty of space for a large group to stay comfortably. Every bed is supplied with fresh linens, the bathrooms are stocked with towels and paper products to ensure you have the things you need so your stay is an absolute joy.

The amenities in this home include two hot tubs, a sauna, a game room with a ping pong table, a pool table, and a wood-burning stove, and plenty of places throughout the house to sit, relax, and enjoy a good book and beverage.

Two large kitchens, stocked with everything you need, are a joy to cook in and will keep your entire party fed and happy. There are large kitchen tables, and two large family rooms with fireplaces and a TV to keep you entertained, warm, and relaxed. The home is also tastefully decorated with large panels of naturally colored wood, and gives a real rural Vermont feel as soon as you walk in.

The Perfect Day

After you wake up and your favorite blend of coffee or tea has brewed, take a step outside and allow the crisp, cool, clean air to fill your lungs—it is a real Vermont treat when paired with a gorgeous sunrise that announces the start of the day!

Then it is time for breakfast, or brunch, which can be easily cooked up in one (or both) of the kitchens, meaning everyone gets a hot meal all at once. Then it is time to plan the day, which can be as simple or as eclectic as you like: since you are only two minutes from Mt. Snow, you can have multiple ski sessions throughout the day, in between which you can have a light lunch, do some shopping, travel around and see the sights, or simply stay in and relax.

For those who are here in spring, summer, or fall, there is golfing nearby, as are family farms to visit, wineries and breweries to tour, local artists to support and talk to, and so on. Or, you can stay in, and host a pool or ping pong tournament, with bragging rights on the line. You can read near the fire, experiment in the kitchen with the fresh produce you can purchase from the farms, or simply have a great conversation with a glass of a local vintage.

Finish up the day by soaking your muscles in one of the two hot tubs, or bake them in the sauna. Celebrate the end of the day by catching an amazing sunset, have a few final laughs with friends and family, and then head to bed, to rest up for tomorrow’s day of fun!

The Neighborhood

Route 100 is your lifeline to everything you need and every place you want to be in this lovely valley in Vermont. Mt. Snow is two minutes away, and two golf courses are also a short drive away as well.

Go south down the route to find local farms that offer the freshest produce, eggs, meats, cheese, and baked goods. If you visit from June to October, good news! That is berry picking season, and a real treat for the whole family. Tiny shops sell local wines and beers, which pair well with the produce you just purchased, and are also places to find that perfect knick-knack for the family home, or as a present for your house/pet sitter.

Also in the area are beautiful forests, filled with hiking trails, lakes, rivers, streams, and more. There you can find fishing, swimming, boating, rafting, tubing and, if you are here in fall, are great places to witness the wonderous fall spectacle as the leaves change and nature gets ready for the snow.

There are horse farms for those who love the equestrian, and summer is horse show season, a famous Vermont treat. Each season has its fairs and festivals, perfect fun for the whole family, and another great way to support the local economy.

This home and location has something for someone in your group, no matter how large, no matter what age! We know you will have an absolute blast and leave with many great memories that will last a lifetime!

Perfect for ski trips

28 February 2019

Hart F.

Gorgeous and massive house with 6 bedrooms, 15 beds, 3 couches, 2 hot tubs outside, a dry sauna in the basement, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, a deck, spacious basement, pool table, ping pong table, awesome space. It's a bit unique, it's basically two mirror image houses smooshed into 1 connected only by a shared basement and deck on the top level. The driveway has plenty of room for many cars, and isn't steep so snow tires are not required. Wicked close & convenient for Mt. Snow trips, literally right down the road.
