Welcome to our cozy, six-bedroom house at the base of Mount Snow! With a hot tub and a sauna, two family rooms, and a lovely view of Mount Snow, this home is perfect for a family vacation or group of friends looking to enjoy the best that Vermont has to offer. The towns of Dover and Wilmington are mere minutes away, which have great restaurants and places to shop. And with the mountain literally less than a minute away by car or a short walk if you like to hoof it, you won’t be spending your entire vacation travelling to and from the slopes! 

The Space: 

The home has six bedrooms and four bathrooms spread across three floors which sleeps up to sixteen guests very comfortably. The beds will have fresh linens and the bathrooms will have towels and paper products ready and waiting for your arrival! 

On the main floor is the hot tub and sauna! With huge windows that overlook the nearby forest and the face of Mount Snow, it makes for a great place to go for a soak or a steam after a day of activities. The main floor also has a large family room with plenty of seating, a wood fireplace, and a large TV. There is also a kitchen, a dining room, one bedroom and a laundry room. 

The lower level has two bedrooms, a kitchenette, and another family room with another fireplace and flat screen TV. This means your group can be watching the game in one room and a movie in another, while both are enjoying the delightful warmth and ambiance of a crackling fire as you cheer on your favorite player or character! 

The second floor has three more bedrooms, including one with a queen bed and a TV, and a full bathroom. 

The Perfect Day: 

Wake up with a pot of coffee or a cup from the kitchen’s Keurig, put on a warm robe, and step outside into the cool air to sip the hot caffeinated suspension as you watch the slopes of Mount Snow come to life. After a hearty breakfast cooked up in the well-stocked kitchen, it is time to have a day of fun outside! If you are here in winter, grab those skis or snowboards and head onto the slopes for a late morning session before heading into town for a light lunch and some shopping. Then you can head back to the slopes, or cuddle up near the fire and watch the game! 

If you are here in the warm weather months, Mount Snow has a lot to offer such as hiking, ziplining, and golfing! Or you can grab some fishing licenses and a wildlife magazine and plan a day out on the water. There is also shopping and exploring to be done in Wilmington, a lovely town just down the road from the home. 

After a day of activities, soak or steam those sore muscles in the hot tub and sauna, while the group’s chef prepares the evening feast in the kitchen. Or, you can let someone else do the cooking and cleaning and head down the road to any number of great restaurants in the area. 

Then it is time for some rest to prepare for another great day of fun! 

The Neighborhood: 

Please note: we also rent the home next door, which sleeps 16, and is only other house on the road! This means you can sleep up to 28 people between both properties and have your own private corner next to Mount Snow for your group! 

 Mt. Snow is within viewing distance, you can walk, take a shuttle, or take a very short car ride. The Mt. Snow Golf Course is seven minutes away by car, also very convenient. Also incredibly close is Timber Creek Cross Country Ski, if that is more your interest. 

Heading south on route 100 will bring you to whatever you need in Dover, there are bars, restaurants, grocery and convenience stores for supplies, and places to shop. If you like supporting local artists, there are art galleries and shops to find that next knick-knack or piece of art to act as a memento of your fabulous time in Vermont. 

Vermont is also famous for its incredibly fresh produce and cheeses. Local farms offer organic, tasty vegetables, berry picking in season (June to October), eggs with the most golden yellow yolks you will ever see, fresh baked goods, and meats. Cheese factories offer a place for you to test your favorite blends, or discover new ones. Wineries and breweries are also in the area and offer tours and tastings, visit one and pair it with a cheese or meat you selected at the local farm! 

The lakes and rivers offer fishing, swimming in summer, rafting and tubing, a great idea for the physically active groups that visit during spring and summer.
