The Space

This gorgeously decorated 3,500 sq. ft. home features five bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and one-half bath, with extremely comfortable beds and fresh linens that allows up to 12 guests to stay with plenty of room. One of the bedrooms is an extra-large family suite. The bathrooms have plenty of towels and are stocked with paper products.

Large windows allow in lots of natural light and provide great views of the lake from nearly every room in the house. There is a private dock with a couple of chairs and a small table, perfect for a couple who wishes to watch the sunset after an amazing day of fun. The home comes with two 3-person kayaks and a pedal boat for your enjoyment on the lake in spring, summer, and fall (the lake is closed during winter from November 15th to April 15th).

Also outdoors is a firepit surrounded by chairs, perfect for those evening conversations around the warmth and glow of a soul-soothing crackling fire, and a new, amazing hot tub! There is also a screened-in porch, great for the nights when the bugs are out, and a BBQ for the grill master in your group.

The kitchen is huge with plenty of granite counter top space, with great appliances and stocked with the things you need to show off your culinary skills and keep your group well-fed. There is a large dining room, a great family room with a gas fireplace, and plenty of TVs and fast Wi-Fi to ensure everyone in your group will be entertained.

The home is also undergoing improvements which have been completed! A brand-new hot tub has been installed that has great views of the lake, and there is a game room with a ping pong table, foosball table, and an air hockey table.

The Perfect Day

Start the morning with your favorite blend of coffee or tea and watch the new day come to life while looking over your private lake view. You can treat the family to a special breakfast or brunch using our amazing kitchen while everyone gets ready for the day.

For winter visitors, there are several mountains in the area to choose from, and all are close enough to allow for a couple ski sessions each day, a morning and an afternoon, or a midday and an evening, the choice is yours! You can also stay in, start a fire in the firepit, bundle up a little, and enjoy the amazing juxtaposition of the cool, crisp air and the warming glow of the fire—it is an experience you will not soon forget!

For those staying in the warmer months, a nice morning session of kayaking to see the natural Pennsylvania beauty while getting a nice workout may be in order, or perhaps a vigorous swim or game of tennis at the community center—as our guests you have access to these facilities! Then you can have a nice light lunch in town, or head to the Crossing Premium outlets for a great shopping session!

In the evening, the grill master can get to work with everyone’s favorite cut of meat while the rest play a pickup game of football or soccer in the yard, or perhaps everyone will simply want to congregate in the screened-in porch for a lovely conversation as the sun sets. After a great dinner, you can grab a round of your favorite beverages and sit around the firepit, or head inside and put on the game, or a great movie.

Then it is time for sleep in our very comfortable beds, to rest up for a great day of fun tomorrow!

The Neighborhood

Included in the home rental is access to the community center which features an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, tennis courts, and a basketball court. You will also have access to five lakes in the area, two are for swimming, two are for fishing, and one you can use boats with non-gas motors.

For winter visitors interested in skiing, Camelback Mountain is ten minutes away, Jack Frost and Big Boulder are 20 minutes away.

For warm month visitors and those not interested in skiing, Mount Pocono golf is four miles away, Mount Airy Casino is six miles away, Great Wolf Water Park is eight miles, and the Crossing Premium Outlets, with 100s of stores, is five miles from the house. There are also plenty of restaurants, shops, bars, and stores, all nearby and minutes away, to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay relaxing and an absolute success.

For car and NASCAR lovers, the Pocono Raceway is only 13 minutes away! They have a great program for kids, airshows, races, places to eat and shop, an amazing experience for the motorheads in the group.
