About the property
If you are looking for a great Mount Snow area home that is set back in the woods, has a hot tub, fire pit, and an incredible wood finish interior, this is your home. With three bedrooms and a loft, this home sleeps up to 11 (or 9 adults) and is great all year round. The property is fifteen minutes to Mount Snow and twenty minutes to Stratton, which offers skiing in winter, and golfing, hiking and outdoor activities during the warm months. During autumn, nature will put on a show with the changing of the leaves. A great place for a family or group of friends!
*The home has a generator that will automatically turn on and powers the entire house in the event of an outage.
The Space
This home has three bedrooms and a loft spread across three floors, all of which will have fresh linens and towels ready for your stay, and sleeps up to 11 guests very comfortably. If your group is all adults, the home sleeps 9.
The kitchen has marble countertops with plenty of space to prepare meals, great appliances, and is connected to the dining area and living room with an open floor plan design in mind. The typical cookware, utensils, plates, cups, etc. are available for use by renters.
The living room has a huge TV, a gas fireplace, and large windows which allow in tons of natural light and offers great views of the surrounding forest.
Outside there is a hot tub, gas grill, and an outdoor umbrella seating area. Set next to the woods is a firepit, and you are encouraged to forage in the woods for firewood, a very underrated way to spend some peaceful time while getting some great exercise. We provide cut firewood as well.
The Perfect Day
Enjoy the fresh, crisp morning Vermont air with a cup of coffee or tea on the deck, then it is time to go on an adventure. The ski mountains offer activities year-round, with golf courses, zip lining, hiking, and of course, skiing. Or you can have a relaxing day in, set a fire in the fireplace or firepit, grab a good book or put on the game, and enjoy some peace and quiet.
For lunch, there are a number of restaurants in Dover and Wilmington, or you can grill up on the BBQ. The chef in the family can use the great kitchen as well, and can use local ingredients purchased from roadside farm stands. Or have our concierge service bring the food to you.
In the afternoon, toast with your friends and family as you sit around the firepit, or have a second round of skiing at the mountain. Then it is time to soak those muscles in the hot tub as the night air sets in and the stars come out.
Then it is off to bed and a great night’s sleep to prepare for another great day!
The Neighborhood
Mt. Snow and Stratton are a short drive from the home, and Magic Mountain is thirty minutes away as well. Close enough to the home that you can go to the mountain, have a morning ski session, take a break for some lunch and exploring, then head back and have a second ski in the afternoon or evening.
Everything you need to make your vacation a success is south on Route 100, there are grocery and convenience stores to stock your kitchen and refrigerator with your group’s favorite foods. Don’t forget to check out the local farms and cheese factories as well, and you can pair your meals and snacks with wines and beers you can find in the shops. If you are staying during the berry picking season (June to October), that is an amazing way to taste the best that Vermont has to offer as well.
There are bars and restaurants that you can find along Route 100 as well, if you want someone else to do the cooking and mixology. There are stores to shop in, including galleries that have the works of local artists, perfect for picking up a gift or the next item or knick-knack for your home to act as a memento of your great vacation.
The lakes and rivers offer fishing, swimming in summer, rafting and tubing, and make a great place to relax, as well. There are also trails to explore, hike, or run, great ideas for those looking for exercise and to experience the amazing nature and weather Vermont has to offer. Also ideal for those looking to walk through a fall paradise, where you can smell, see, and hear the leaves changing and preparing for winter!
Winter, spring, summer, or fall, it is a perfect time to visit!

Perfect

I would totally recommend this cabin to anyone looking to get away in VT. Check in was simple and there was so much room in the cabin (there was seven of us total and it was perfect).
Dmitry communicated with me quickly upon arrival and was there for any questions that we could have.
The cabin itself was so cozy and the hottub was a major plus as well. There's nothing more we could have asked for. It literally was perfect.

This is a beautiful cabin in such a nice area in Vermont, with the nicest hosts. They were both so accommodating and the communication was great, reaching out frequently to see if we needed anything leading up to our stay, and at check-in/ check-out. We went as a small group of friends needing a little weekend escape and this couldn’t have been more perfect. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking in the area!
