About the property
If you are looking for a home in the heart of Manchester Village, but with some space and privacy, then this home is for your group. Sitting on six acres, with four bedrooms that sleeps up to eight, the home is walking distance to Burr & Burton, Equinox, and the historic district of Manchester. The home is eclectically decorated with exquisite artwork and unique pieces of furniture, with a firepit, gas BBQ grill, and superfast internet. Great for families and groups looking to visit Manchester, or corporate groups who are looking to be in Vermont while working from home or doing business in one of the best cities in the state!
The Space
The home has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, sleeping up to eight, though we do prefer to keep the total number of adults to six. The downstairs bedroom can be easily converted into an office if you do not need the sleeping space, please let us know and we will have our staff set it up.
The beds will have fresh linens when you arrive, and the bathrooms will be stocked with plenty of towels and paper products. We have professional cleaners that ensure you will have a pristine home upon arrival.
The kitchen is stocked with all of the cookware and utensils you would expect, with great appliances and plenty of space to prepare your meals. Next to the kitchen is a breakfast table, perfect for putting out snacks or having a cup of coffee before starting the day. The dining room has incredibly comfortable chairs, and seats eight.
Next to the dining room is the living room, with a wrap-around couch, wood fireplace, and flat screen TV. There is also superfast internet, which means the network can handle multiple devices streaming, doing remote work, and gaming.
Outside is a custom hand-made brick patio, with a firepit, gas grill (propane is provided), and a huge grass field. We do have neighbors, so we do ask that any outdoor activities are respectful with noise, especially for folks staying during the week. Your group will have plenty of privacy, and we want you to have a great time, of course.
The Perfect Day
Since you are so close to everything, you can sleep in to catch up what you have missed during your busy life, and still have plenty of daytime left to enjoy all of your activities! For early risers, after brewing up a pot of your favorite blend of coffee or tea, take the short walk down to Equinox pond and welcome the new day!
After a delicious breakfast or brunch, it is time to head out! The horse show is so close you can pop back and forth from the events and the house, or you can grab some clubs and head to the links. There are great places for fishing in the area as well.
For winter guests, Bromley is a short drive away, which means you can either spend all day on the mountains and get a ton of skiing in, or you can break it up into a late morning and afternoon session, spending midday to grab some lunch or do a little shopping.
And if you are staying in the warmer months, don’t forget to grab some fresh produce from a local farm on your way home, or do some berry picking! The organic fresh eggs are a special delight, the golden-yellow yolks make for great omelets, or you can fry or scramble.
After a day of fun, you can head into Manchester for some shopping and to grab a delicious dinner. For the chefs, the kitchen has the things you need to make a feast for your crew. Then you can gather around the TV in the living room and catch a favorite movie, or perhaps one that you missed, or perhaps curl up in front of the fire with a good book from a great author. Then it is time for bed, and some rest for another day of great Vermont fun!
The Neighborhood
Bromley Mountain is a fifteen-minute drive away, Magic Mountain and Stratton are a half an hour away as well, three great places that provide plenty of slopes for those spending an extended ski vacation in Vermont!
The Manchester Golf Course is only three minutes away by car, which means you won’t have to wake up super early to catch a morning tee time. There are also several farms in the area, North Meadow and Culver are within minutes, and there are several more you will pass going to and from the home.
For fishers, the local species are bass, pike, and perch, and they also stock trout as well. There is an Orvis Fishing School that can teach you fly fishing, and there are several places to pick up tackle and get a local’s guide on the best places to fish during your stay. For the history buffs, check out the American Museum of Fly Fishing in Manchester.
Home base will be Manchester, a lovely and quiet mountain town that still has plenty to do. There are tons of places to eat, from pizza, to breakfast nooks, to farm-to-table restaurants. Tons of shopping, with art galleries and stores where you can browse the local culture and perhaps pick up a memento for the home, or a gift for a house/pet sitter. It is also a great way to support the local economy and keep new art flowing!
You can have a thrill at the Land Rover Experience Driving school, or catch the sights and take pictures while on the Manchester Riverwalk, exploring Merck Forest, or riding the Backroad Discovery Tours. Discover President Abraham Lincoln’s birthplace at The Lincoln Family Home. Bring the kids to the well-kept Dana L. Thompson memorial Park for play time. Enjoy this wonderful town’s seasonal music, arts, theatre, and local cuisine, as well.
We hope you enjoy your stay at this wonderful house while you take advantage of the best Vermont has to offer.

We spent over 3 weeks at this charming house in Manchester. Listing and pictures are accurate. House was wonderfully located, extremely quiet, yet less than a mile from downtown Manchester, restaurants, shopping, Orvis etc. The house is an easy walk to Equinox Pond, my husband walked there almost daily. Dmitry was extremely responsive to any questions we had. When the power went out in an electric storm, he emailed to make sure we were okay and then confirmed that the power went back on. The kitchen is efficiently laid out with good appliances. All utensils you need are there, organized and ready for use. We had a wonderful vacation, Thanks Dmitry!
Fabulous home and great communication
